As I mentioned in last week’s post, Weekly Spread: 1/18/16 Recap, I decided to try something new to my spread this week! My previous set of “trackers” were constantly left blank due to the more urgent tasks I had to get done. Essentially, I went back to the basics of bullet journaling and made a “to-do” section. It sounds pretty simple, but I was putting it off before because I felt like I could tackle the few assignments I had each week for school. It turns out, staying on top of three classes, two jobs, a club, and multiple meet-ups, means that I had to break down tasks into smaller tasks so that I could finish them on time.
Each day, I would make a list of items and add to it as necessary. Then, I would refer to it and check-off items as I went. The next day, I would migrate any unfinished items over and hopefully be able to finish them! It sounds really basic, but this did help me break down larger tasks into smaller chunks.
It’s definitely something I’m going to keep for next week!
